After many years of fighting the CARES Act battle for all of you, we are pleased to announce the battle is won!
H3 and our very own Matt Schlabach triumphed in the Arizona Court of Appeals with the decision in Barrera v. Sedona Point, LLC. The Court found that the 30-day provision in the CARES Act has long since expired and no longer applies in Arizona. Effective immediately, only a Five-Day Notice is required in non-payment of rent cases, regardless of whether the CARES Act once affected your property.
